Meaning that in exchange for free living at the firehouse, volunteer firemen provide 48 hours of availability weekly to staffing & handling the day-to-day operations of the Department, while maintaining part time employment or higher education.

No Caption **SPECIAL RESCUE** Last night, just after 1715 hours, The Squad (W4 Techs) responded to a Special Rescue in New Bridgeville Memorial Fire Company’s local

The Squad originally was directed to stage at the entrance to the trail at Lock 2. Initial units from 39 located the patient on top of the 700 foot mountain and made the determination that the patient was going to have to be transported down the mountain via a rope system, then transported back to Lock 2 via boats. No Caption Last Saturday evening had several members joined together for a Thanksgiving meal prepared by our brothers & sisters from the Dover Township Fire Department

Members from both Departments enjoyed spending the evening together which was a nice change of pace over some awesome food.

Earlier in the day Saturday, four (4) additional members were tested & certified in Emergency Boat Operations Rescue (EBOR). This was step 4 of a 5 step process in order to retain Water Rescue Technician level status within the Department.

At 0945 hours, the Engine was alerted to respond to a reported trailer on fire in Lower Windsor Township

Wrightsville Fire & Rescue Company 41, November 20

The Engine (W5), Deputy Chief 41, and Assistant Chief 41 responded at the dispatch. Assistant Chief 41 arrived to find a single wide trailer with fire showing and was receiving reports of a trapped child. The Engine arrived as the second due engine, picking up Rescue 38’s hydrant.
