This evening as members were enjoying dinner, the pre-alert sounded for an apartment building fire in East Donegal township. The Engine with 5 responded at dispatch with the Fire Chief and Assistant Chief following behind. The Engine Company was special requested on the Working Fire Dispatch earlier tonight on Box 89-504 in Manchester Township. The Wagon handled Rapid Intervention (RIT) duties for a brief while before being moved up to YAUFR Company 89-4 to cover their area while their units continue to operate. Working House Fire In Columbia

Your local volunteers have just cleared a working house fire in Columbia Borough. The fire was reported at 2:30 this morning. First arriving units found smoke and fire showing from a two and half story private dwelling. Rescue 41-1 arrived assuming second due engine responsibilities assisting Station 80 with fire suppression and overhaul. Crews operated on scene for roughly two hours before returning ...
