**ENGINE RIDER PROMOTION**
Congratulations to Fireman Braden Benedict on becoming a Wrightsville Engine Rider

Braden has completed his “Probationary Fireman” and “Engine Rider” portions of the rookie book. These include hundreds of hours of certification courses, as well as department history tests, department SOG tests, department bylaw tests, department operational tests, basic firefighting skills, and multiple practical skills for each seat on the Engine Company. Braden came to Wrightsville as a staffing member in December from West Hanover Volunteer Fire Company 36. He also holds multiple certifications including Pro Board Firefighter 1, and is enrolled to start his EMT in March. Since joining, he now participates in our live-in program and has worked tirelessly to reach this milestone.
