1 announce the passing of life member Jack F. Bowers.

Records indicate Jack joined the department in the late 1950's, making him a member for over 60 years.

During his tenure, he held numerous positions to include Chief Hose Director, Assistant Hose Director, Trustee, Fire Police Captain, and most recently Fire Police Officer. He also served on numerous committees including the apparatus committee for the purchase of our 1967 Mack Model C pumper. Aside from the purchase, the committe also served as a liason between the department and the now defunct Seagraves Social Club, which provided funding for equipment on the rig.
