Yesterday we had our 30 year old bay doors replaced by Peach Bottom Door LLC, the old doors were installed in 1991! The new doors offer better insulation, up to date technology for the motors & controls.
This is one of the MANY projects our Building Committee is overseeing at the moment to continue to bring our firehouse into the twenty first century. Our Building Committee was first formed in 2017 and oversaw the most recent modernization of the firehouse located on South 2nd Street.
The Building Committee works hand-in-hand with the Trustees, the Live-In Committee & other Department heads to ensure our facility offers a comfortable and unique family/living atmosphere.
