This evening as members were enjoying dinner, the pre-alert sounded for an apartment building fire in East Donegal township. The Engine with 5 responded at dispatch with the Fire Chief and Assistant Chief following behind. On arrival, The Engine split laid, and assumed first due engine responsibilities meeting up with Truck 75 on the 3rd floor. Once inside crews were met with low visibility and moderate heat. Members located a room of fire and extinguished the same. Crews worked for 3 hours before clearing.
