It has come to our attention that a member of another local volunteer fire department has posted negative comments about individuals within an online post of the York Daily Record facebook. This individual has the Wrightsville Fire & Rescue Company listed as his employer. We find such comments disheartening and unprofessional. Please understand that this individual is not currently and has not previously been a member of the Wrightsville Fire Department and in no way is represents our organization. We do not condone these types of comments and such comments have no place in the fire service. This individual does volunteer at a mutual aid department and we have been getting in contact with his fire chief to notify him of the situation.
