Industrial Building Fire East Of The Susquehanna |
Saturday, February 18, 2012 - At 0315 Hours, Engine Company 41 was dispatched to assist Lancaster Company 79 (Maytown)
with an industrial building fire. Chief 79 arrived on scene with
smoke in the area, and employees reporting an active fire several hundred feet
inside the building. Engine 41 went enroute with 7 in two minutes under
the direction of DC Livelsberger. Engine Company 79 got a quick knock on
several skids of burning ceiling tile. Upon arrival of the 41 Engine, crews
were immediately sent inside to assist company 79. Company 41 operated
for two hours and fifteen minutes before returning to the first due. Thanks
to Engine Company 22 (Mt. Wolf) for providing an engine company transfer for
the duration of the incident. |
