Wednesday, May 2, 2012 - At 1035, the Engine Company was dispatched as part of the 1st alarm assignment on Meisenhelder road in Lower Windsor.  Engine Company and the Chief went enroute with 9.  Units arrived to find a fully involved barn fire with multiple exposures.  Engine 41 arrived and took side "C" Charlie and deployed all handlines.  After the fire was extinguished, extensive overhaul ops were performed. 
 
 
Monday, May 7, 2012 - At 1709, the Lancaster 76 box was dropped for a Class 2 vehicle accident on the Route 30 bridge in West Hempfield.  Police Department arrived on the scene to find the accident in Hellam Township making the incident a 21-15 box.  The new dispatch added Rescue 41-1 and Rescue 79 (Maytown) to the assignment.  Company 41 was on the street with 12 in two minutes, and two in-house.  Engine Company 801 (Columbia) and Rescue 41-2 arrived to find one patient confined in the vehicle.  The Holmatro spreader was placed in service to pop the drivers door.  The patient was transferred to the care of Lancaster Medic 776. Tuesday, May 15, 2012 - At an unknown hour today, we welcomed to the family the youngest member of the Men In Black, Mickenzie Marie Russ.  Both baby and mom are doing fine, and all of us at Company 41 would like to extend our warmest welcome to Mickenzie.  The officers and members of 41 would also like to congratulate  Lieutenant Tif Russ, and Assistant Chief Matt Russ on the birth of thier first child!
 
 
Tuesday, May 15, 2012 - At 1323, the 21-15 box was dropped for a vehicle fire on Route 30 in Hellam Township.  The incident was later discovered to be in Columbia Borough, Lancaster County.  Engine Company 41 was enroute with 5 in two minutes.  The vehicle was found on Route 30 westbound, 1/4 mile before the intercounty bridge.  Engine 41 arrived to find a van with fire showing.  The engine officer notified York that the incident was in Lancaster County, and then went to work extinguishing the fire, and depowering the vehicle.  The Wagon was clear about 20 minutes after dispatch.
