Sunday, March 18, 2012 - At 0744, RIT 41 was dispatched for a possible electrical fire in a structure on
the 6100 block of Craley Road in Lower Windsor. Rescue Company 41 was enroute
in two minutes with 10 under the direction of Captain Ryon. The assignment
was held to Company 44. At 1521, the Rescue Assigment was alerted for an auto accident with injuries on Route 30 Eastbound in the area of Accomac Road. Rescue Company 41 was enroute in one minute with a staffing of 15. Chief 21-1 arrived on the scene to find a 3 vehicle accident involving a tractor-trailer. After prying an SUV from the rear of the trailer, crews cleaned up the roadway and went available. While returning to quarters the alarm of fire was sounded on Deininger Lane in Springettsbury. Engine 41 was requested to assist Company 89 (YAUFR) with a large woods fire. Engine Company 41 was on the street in one minute with 8. 41 arrived and was immediately put to work raking a fire line as well as putting two handlines into service to prevent fire spread. 41 crews rolled some house and returned to the MIB Headquarters. |
